Troy Residence – Troy, Ohio
To a woodworker, the more wood you can tastefully incorporate into a project, the better it looks. Perhaps this is why we enjoyed this project so much! We were approached by the homeowner and the builder who had a clear vision and a desire to do something special in this Colorado Ranch-themed home. From the beginning, we worked closely with Desi Layman Signature Homes and Centerville Design Associates to meet the client’s vision both aesthetically and functionally. Red alder was used for most of the project which helped bring a rustic theme throughout the home. This was accented in the ceiling areas with a rustic white oak. We used a dark walnut for a few free-standing furniture items to give an antique appearance with modern building methods and functionality.
We thoroughly enjoyed the process of this project from start to finish and look forward to the opportunity to work with you to achieve your own unique dream home.
