Schear Financial – Dayton, Ohio

Perhaps one of Stull Woodworks most diverse commercial projects, the Schear Financial office building in Oakwood, Ohio is also one of the most unique and fascinating projects. Designed by Earl Reeder Associates, this project was completed over the span of a year, with Stull Woodworks providing shop drawings, fabrication, and installation. Stull Woodworks built the pavilion, the front entry doors, the reception desk and credenza, the two desks and credenzas in the main offices, as well as a diverse arrangement of office and restroom furniture. A special flexible substrate was used to create the curves and contours of the desks along with slip matched veneer to create a continuous look on the panels. Most of the wood species consisted of ash, white oak, cherry, mahogany, and maple. From the rustic white oak and slate pavilion out front to the modern curves and contours of the desks and credenzas, this project captures the diverse ability of Stull Woodworks to provide a comprehensive millwork package for any customer.
