We received a call from D and D Classic this week and they said they were ready for the 1932 Rolls Royce dashboard to be veneered and delivered. So here is the process we went through to get it accomplished.
Here is the dashboard before we applied the veneer.

We started off with two book-matched pieces of walnut burl veneer.

We then glued and clamped the veneer onto the dashboard.

We took tape and covered the veneer to protect it as we machined the openings and cleaned the glue off the sides of the dash.

When all the sanding is done and all the glue is gone, the dashboard is ready to have finished sprayed on it and then it is ready to be installed in the car.
